Can I cycle up and down The Sloc 12 times?

As many of you are aware, I was due to ride through the Alps in July for The Children’s Centre before it was cancelled due to Covid-19. I spent weeks trying to decide if I should sort out refunds through just giving for the donations I had already received or do another challenge on island.

Well the challenge is to replicate the ride that I was suppose to complete on the final day which was a triple ascent on Mont Ventoux. To replicate this I’m going to ride up The Sloc 12 times in one ride which will cover almost the same mileage, height and average gradient.

I have the support from The Children’s Centre and would love to have people ride with me even if its for one lap! I would also love to have support on the side of the road to boost morale!

If the weather really isn’t on my side then I will try the next day and so on.
