Ecclesfield Spartans U8’s Training year · 15 June 2018

The Parent Community Sports Trust (PCST) is a Glasgow‑based charity dedicated to promoting healthy living and strengthening communities through sport. Football is at the core of what we do — from Mini Kickers at age 3, to Women’s 5‑a‑Side, to Walking Football for older adults. Our newest milestone is securing a permanent home at Peterson Park in Knightswood, where we’ve already launched the Peterson Four Schools Project, offering free football sessions to pupils at Bankhead, Corpus Christi, Clyde and St Brendan’s Primaries. We’re also expanding beyond football. BSC Storm Dance provides an affordable dance option with local teachers, while BSC K‑POP helps international students connect through weekly dance sessions. For adults looking for fitness and friendship, BSC Women’s Recreational Football offers a welcoming, social environment. Where there’s enthusiasm, we build opportunity. That’s why we’ve helped create new clubs including BSC Handball, BSC Baseball, BSC Ping Pong and The Blue Sox Hockey — giving young people fresh alternatives to traditional sports. PCST is a club shaped by its community: competitive for those who want to win, social for those seeking connection, and inclusive for anyone who needs a place to belong.

Story

Parent Community Sports Trust (PCST) “Supporting Sustainable Community Sport” The trust is set up to encourage, support and establish sustainable School and community sports initiatives. They do this by providing educational sports provision (sports coaches) who will develop ongoing sports activity through links with local sports clubs. They may also incubate the development of new community sports clubs in cooperation with Parents/Carers & Teachers.
