Story
As some of you will know before the first lockdown my mum was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer. We were very lucky that she was incredibly strong and fought to give us another 2 years with her. It’s the saddest most heart breaking news, that unfortunately the cancer took her from us on the 19th of November 2021. For me, my mum embodied the meaning of life and that is making the earth and peoples lives slightly better then how she found it or them. She was the kindest, loveliest, strongest and most beautiful lady on the planet and will be missed by so many.
To say she has left a hole in my life is an understatement, I’ve truly lost my bestest friend. All I want is to make her proud and to spend as much of my time as I can following in her footsteps, making a difference where I can.
I am so so thankful for all the support I received back in June when I did the Mighty hike with my sister. This time I’m taking it up a notch and I have been given a place to run the London marathon in October 2022 as part of team Macmillan, in memory of my beautiful mum. It’s a massive challenge for a good cause very close to my heart. Any support received is truly greatly appreciated! Let’s get this run done my little Mandem ❤️
