The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

On Friday 24th May, I will be having 12" of my hair cut off and donated to the Little Princess Trust Charity. I will be having this cut at Smudge Barbers, located at Definitions Health and Fitness Gym, Spalding. I have chosen this charity because I am currently a gymnastics coach and I am also at university training to become a primary school teacher, so I wanted to do something good for children. For those that do not know, I am the worst person for not wanting to get my hair cut. I try to go as little as possible and hate even getting an inch cut off! However, I feel having 12" cut off and a child receiving my hair for a wig for them to wear would be worth it. I am hoping to raise £550 to go towards the charity too, in order for my hair to be made into a wig, ready for a child who is undergoing cancer treatment. I hope I get a lot of support on this journey and make a child's wish come true.
