Howdy,

I am running the London Marathon on 17 April 2011 for COSMIC (Children of St Mary's Intensive Care). COSMIC raises funds to support the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London. 

My nephew, Holden, was admitted there in October 2009 with severe respiratory failure. The incredible team in intensive care and the outpatient department nursed him back to health, and supported his parents throughout. Holden is now strong and well (he’s my pacemaker in training) thanks to the amazing doctors, nurses and facilities at St Mary’s.

The money raised is vital in helping the PICU treat the hundreds of desperately ill children who rely on its lifesaving care each year.
