The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist lifelong health & wellbeing support for the UK fire & rescue community, empowering individuals and families to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives. This includes serving and retired firefighters, control and support teams.

Story

Four Crew members and Family supporters from Leyburn Fire Station are cycling from Leyburn Station to Jubilee House at Penrith and back visiting some Richmondshire Fire Stations. Day one is approximately 60 miles and we will visit Reeth Station before heading to Penrith with at total of 1200m climbing.
Day two is approximately 60 miles and the route will return down Wensleydale visiting Hawes Station with at total of approximately 1000m climbing.

Jubilee House is a purpose built rehabilitation and therapy centre that is situated near to Penrith. This facility is accessible to members of the fire service and their families and provides a wide range of rehabilitation programs for active and retired Firefighters.
