Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
I will be doing a driving challenge to which i need to raise lots and lots of money for this worthwhile cause and i would appreciate your help with this. Clink the sponser/donate link now to help me help others. This will entail driving all sorts of mean machines, fire engines, hgv lorries, quad bikes, double decker buses, golf buggies, sports cars and many more.....!!! (im really scared lol)
Cancer has affected both mine and gails family so we decided to dedicate some of our valuable time in doing this charity event. This is something very close to our hearts, and all donations will be greatfully received xx
here are a few things they have done over the years
2004
the first significant project was the £400,00 cancer information centre at ipswich hopsital opened by HRH Duke of Kent in October 2004. it is a working partnership with suffolk PCT, suffolk oncology (the area that deals with the study and treatmen of cancer) centre and cancer backup.
cancer campaign in suffolk was the brainchild of Ipswich oncologist, john levay, who remarked "the information centre has become well established in providing high quality, meaningful cancer information and support services, making a real difference to the prevention and treatment of cancer in suffolk - something that we are very proud of"
2004-2005
a further 3350,00 was raised and spent on numerous projects including
instant imaging equipment for breast cancer
facilities following cancer diagnostics
general equipment for patients
information and patient grants
complementary therapy programme.
2007
a state of the art mobile vehcile will extend the information and support service into many suffolk communities and travel to a wide variety of locations throughout the county. the mobile unit will be available to specific groups with cancer prevention information highlighting how to reduce the risk of cancer. we are commited to support staffing for this project for a minimum of 2 years.
johnathan ripman chairman of CCIS, urges everyone to help reach the 1m mark by the charitys 10th birthday. " please feel you can get involved in raising big or small amounts by running, walking, swimming, or biking, organising a fete or ball. We appreciate tremendously fundraising or donations which will help us raise £250,000 for the mobile information unit.
phew that took my concerntration lol... now time for the working and departing with pennies tee hee :)
the date of the event has been changed to 28th June however i cant now change the date as i have sponsers on my page, but this gives you a little longer to get donating, or even donating again hehe x
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Campaign In Suffolk will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
