LFRS 24 hour treadmill challenge - Rawtenstall Team 1 · 21 December 2020

Fire Fighters Charity provides care and support to the UK’s fire family. It helps with any health and wellbeing challenges firefighters, control staff, and everyone working in – or retired from – the UK’s fire services, as well as their families, may face - during and after service

Story

Four firefighters from Rawtenstall Fire Station are taking in the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service 24 hour treadmill challenge.

On Monday 21 December, starting at noon, the four of us will be competing against another seven teams in a challenge to see which team can run the furthest. The winners will receive a blaze bear teddy bear!

We will be running on a treadmill outside the engine house doors and adhering to COVID secure practices.

We are doing this to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity who provide help and support for injured firefighters and their immediate support.
