Each year, London friend, with the help of over 100 volunteers, support thousands of LGBT+ people in the community. Donations for London friend enables them to keep running social and coming out groups, drop-ins for vulnerable and isolated LGBT+ people, offer low cost counselling and provide vital drug and alcohol support. 

A number of charities are understandably struggling in the current climate given the impact on the economy. The same climate is obviously having a massive effect on people's wellbeing and mental health and especially LGBT+ people who may have moved back with family who they may not be out, may not be as supportive or lost access to the normal support networks as a result of having to stay at home. Therefore the support that London friend are continuing to offer could really make a big difference.
