Defend Strong Encryption
Campaign by Internet Society (RCN 541650477)
Thank you to our team of incredible fundraisers who spent Global Encryption Day walking, running, knitting, baking, and much more! We raised money for Internet Society's work on encryption to ensure people can defend encryption for years to come.

Story

My kids are entirely the best thing ever and, in my opinion, growing up in the best time ever.

They're doing so much online - from talking to their grandma or cousins, doing their homework or their online classes on how to be a YouTuber (look out Mark Rober . . . look out!). It's amazing.

Internet access has changed their lives for the better - and with such a critical resource to our children for learning, socializing, discovering, and mental health, I want to ensure they have safe spaces guarded with strong encryption.

I've spent the last year recovering from a knee injury, and I can't think of a better reason to run my first 5K than helping kids worldwide have even more opportunities to have a great - and secure - time online.
