In 2002 Camps International was founded with the single aim of bringing international volunteers to rural communities around the world to work on life-changing and sustainable projects.

Since then over 18,000 volunteers have travelled with us from around the world, working on thousands of different projects to positively impact on the lives of some of the poorest people in Africa, Asia and South America.

The Camps Foundation is our 100% giving charity, which enables even more of this amazing project work to continue. Our pledge is that every penny you give will go on running these projects as all the support costs are met by our social enterprise and not the charity.

Your donation could:

- buy bricks to build classrooms for schools to enable even more children to access an education

- help build a house for a vulnerable family or elderly person who does not have a safe place to sleep at night

- install a water supply into a community which has no access to clean, running water

- buy the materials needed to construct elephant deterrent fencing which prevents these endangered animals wandering into farmlands

- plant thousands of native saplings to help combat deforestation

and much, much more.

We promise that every project we start, we finish, without compromise. 

The UK team will walking/running every day to achieve in 31 days the distance to walk from our Head Office in Ringwood, Hampshire to Makongeni in Kenya where we launched our very first camp. That's a total distance of 6,827 miles and will require us as a team to rack up nearly 15 million steps!
