10 years ago I set off travelling to Tanzania to trek Mount Kilimanjaro. It is safe to say the trip ended up in a complete disaster. One medical emergency at the top of the volcano at 3am in the morning, resulted in a very abrupt end to the adventure.

Every year since I have told myself I would go back and finish what I started all those years ago but every year I have procrastinated. Procrastination is definitely the killer of time.

Finally I have stopped the talking and signed up to make my return to Kilimanjaro in 2022. I have been given the nudge I needed and the motivation to put to bed some unfinished business.

I will be fundraising for The Thunder Foundation, which was brought to my attention by a good friend and colleague. The Thunder Foundation supports the children of Kenya's Slums and helps pay for their education, food programs and health/social checks. These children would not be able to go to school without the support of The Thunder Foundation as the families are so poor.

I'm honored to raise funds for this amazing charity. I will be documenting my Journey on video and social media month-on-month, all the way to Uhuru Peak.

I have a mammoth fundraising target to hit so I am relying on your kindness and generosity to help me achieve it. Every donation whether it be a penny or pound, is greatly appreciated.
