Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Those of you that know me, know how precious my beard is to me. I have had it for three years now and to be without it will be a big deal! (Especially now that its going to be freezing).

With having the beard I got to be an extra for the popular TV show 'Game of Thrones'. I spent many days and nights on set, many times through cold and wet weather. I met many great people by doing this and had some amazing experiences. Filming has now stopped and I no longer need the precious beard that we have all come to know and love.

Many of you will also know that I am a bus driver for Ulsterbus - passengers have come to know me well, all because of the beard - I have become easily recognisable! 'Theres that bus driver with the big beard' , 'oh, you mean Liam!'.

I plan to take my beard off for cancer focus on 24th November this year! (Time and place will be confirmed for those of you wanting to attend).

Donations given through just giving go to cancer focus, Translinks charity partner for this year.

I will also be taking cash donations which will also go toward another charity close to my heart - Rett Syndrome - Ellas Hope. For more information on this please visit www.ellas-hope.org. Please take a few minutes out of your time to take a look. You can also donate via that website if you would prefer to do it that way.

Thank you for reading and for your kind donations.

The beard will be missed but it will be worth losing to help those in need.

Liam.
