We fight childhood liver disease to help every life affected

Story

In April 2007, I became very unwell and was diagnosed with acute liver failure. I was fortunate enough to receive a life-saving liver transplant at Kings College Hospital in London on Friday 13th of April, 2007.

Not only did I receive fantastic support and treatment from Kings College Hospital, but I also had outstanding support from the Children's Liver Disease Foundation. They came to visit me in the hospital and I attended friendly, comforting support groups after leaving the hospital.

We are supporting Children's Liver Disease Foundation because they help and support children with all aspects of liver disease, some of which are in desperate need of a transplant.

About the charity

UK charity Children's Liver Disease Foundation takes action against the effects of childhood liver disease, providing information, emotional support, research funds and a voice for all affected.
