5K FOR 50 DAYS · 10 January 2021

University Hospitals Birmingham Charity supports four hospitals in Birmingham - Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope, and Solihull. We support the patients, families and staff at our hospitals by providing 'added extras' that are over and above those which are provided by the NHS.

Story

5K a day for 50 days!

On Sunday 10th January I will be starting my 5K a day for 50 days challenge! I will be running 5K every day up until the 28th February completing a grand total of 250 Kilometres in the aid of raising awareness and giving back to the Children's Wards and Paediatric Units at the University Hospitals' of Birmingham.

With the country going into Lockdown 3, I find myself needing something different to focus on - I know lots of others will be in the same boat - and raising money for a worthwhile and very relative cause is an added bonus!

If you would like to donate please do so on my JustGiving page, all donations would be hugely appreciated! Along with any blister plasters and Vaseline haha!

Please share and spread the word! It would be amazing if we could achieve a generous total to thank the amazing staff at the Trust!

Thanks in advance, pray for my legs! haha!

University Hospitals Birmingham Charity supports patients, families and NHS staff across five hospitals in the West Midlands - Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope, Solihull and NHS Nightingale Birmingham.During the current COVID-19 crisis, your donations are helping us to support our NHS superheroes.Delivering care packs to nurses, providing "wobble rooms" for staff to get psychological and emotional support, helping patients to stay in contact with their families by providing tablets with video conferencing apps and much more.
