South Coast Challenge 2021 · 4 September 2021 to 5 September 2021 ·

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

I am running 100 KM from Eastbourne to Arundel on September 4th 2021. It's my first ultra (I've run a marathon once without any training!), so it's a huge challenge for me, and training is already tough!

I'm aiming to finish in 12-14 hours.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions. See how your support can help by visiting www.c-r-y.org.uk
