Save the Children exists to help every child reach their full potential. In the UK and around the world, we make sure children stay safe, healthy and keep learning, so they can become who they want to be.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for a Save the Children campaign called 'No child born to die.' by completing the Sussex Triathlon on 3rd July.http://www.sussextriathlon.co.uk/ and Bexhill triathlon on 28/08/11.

See:http://www.tltri.co.uk/

The campaign aims to increase the number of children who are vaccinated in the developing world. In the words of Save the Children:

'No child is born to die, but 8 million children under five die every year from illnesses we know how to treat or prevent, such as diarrhoea and pneumonia. In the 21st century, this is utterly wrong'

As a father and a nurse who has vaccinated children this is something close to my heart.
