I have done the 6 mile walk two times and my medal's are hanging on my wall. In 2018 my 8 year old son was looking at my medals and wishing he could have one. I told him how i got the medals and since then he has been wanting to do the walk and to show people that he got a medal in walking.
liam has coordination and sensitivity problems what makes him walk on his tiptoes and sides of his feet (he falls over alot) also not very good around loud sounds. I was shocked he wanted to do this but i'm a proud mummy that he wants to do it and i also think it will help with his self-esteem.
we are only doing the 6mile and he be wearing his ear defenders and walking boots. It would be lovely if people can support him.
