I'm no longer a novice to this running lark, and all of us have 'donation-fatigue' as everyone seems to be asking for sponsorship for something or another. 

However, hopefully you'll still have a couple of quid in your pocket to support a smaller charity thats works to defeat one of the most underlooked forms of cancer. The Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund raises money for research projects that aim to improve early detection, new treatments and hopefully a cure. Survival rates for pancreatic cancer have barely improved in the last 40 years - currently 3% - in part because so little research funding available. Hopefully your contribution will accelerate the progress scientists are making.

I'm going to try and break my 10k PB of 55mins and get it done in 50mins - shaving 5mins off my time in the space of a month will be tricky but I'll give it a go.
