London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Hi everyone, On 6th April 2025, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of my dad, who sadly passed away suddenly from heart failure at the end of 2023, aged just 54.

This run means a lot to me, and I’ll be joined by some close family and friends as we take on this challenge together. Knowing my dad, he’ll be laughing at us all and taking the p*ss, but I know he’d be proud too.

Heart failure and other heart conditions can often develop silently, with devastating consequences. That’s why we’re determined to raise as much as we can to support vital research, improve awareness and early diagnosis, and contribute to the development of better treatments. If our efforts can help save even one life, it will all be worth it.

And if a half marathon isn’t enough pain to convince you to donate, I’ll also be running the Manchester Marathon three weeks later!

Any donation, big or small, will make a huge difference. Thank you so much for your support, it means a lot.

Much love, Liam
