I am doing the Sony Ericsson "Run to the Beat" half marathon in Greenwich on Sunday 27th September.

Over 250 entrants are planning on dressing as Bananas and creating the new world record for 'the greatest number of people dressed as fruits at a single venue'. If we get the required number of people to congregate for over 15 minutes while running, we have a new record!

Leukaemia Research is the only charity in the UK dedicated exclusively to researching blood cancers and disorders including leukaemia, Hodgkin’s and other lymphomas, and myeloma.

Anyone, at any age can be diagnosed with a blood cancer. 24,500 people in the UK are diagnosed every year. Leukaemia Research are committed to giving every one of them the best chance of survival.
