Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am travelling to Vietnam in October with two lovely friends to trek for 10 days to help raise money for The Institute of Cancer Research.

My family had a very sad year last year after losing two very special people. My wonderful mother in law passed away last April after a very long, hard battle against Multiple Myeloma which was one of the hardest, sadest things I have ever had to witness. Following that in November I lost my very inspiring stepmum after her 10 year battle against cancer with finally ended. She suffered secondary lung cancer that went to her stomach resulting in her having an ileostomy and a stoma fitted. The odds were against her and it eventually went to her brain.

If by doing this charity event I manage to help in even the smallest way possible, I will of achieved a massive goal and hopefully it will inspire others aswell.
