We are just 5 girls who thought it would be fun to take part in Pretty Muddy for Cancer Research!  None of us are particularly fit, we can break in to a jog (if we need to run to the bar for a glass of wine)! but we have all been touched by the loss of someone from Cancer.  However, nothing could have prepared us for having to take part in this event in memory of our Beautiful Lil.

10 days  ago Nikki, Lil's daughter and Aimee, Lil's granddaughter were given the devastating news that Lil had lung cancer.  In typical Lil fashion, she took it on the chin and smiled and joked with her family. As they prepared for the fight ahead, Lil took a turn for the worse and this cruel disease took hold.  Lil fought a brave fight this last week, but she was just too poorly to carry on and unfortunately passed away on Sunday evening .

On Sunday 2 July, Nikki and Aimee, along with Lianne, Nicky and Kerry will take part in Pretty Muddy in memory of Lil. There may be many tears along the way, but one things for sure, with Lil looking over us there will also be many laughs.

Please give what you can to Cancer Research in the hope that a cure can be found in the near future and allow us to raise as much money as we can in Lil's memory.  For a lady who was so full of fun and life, she would be so proud of her girls taking part in this event!
