From 5th-7th of October, our engaged asses will risk callous and rash as we spend two days in the saddle, taking on a huge challenge of cycling 247km from Cassis to Monaco. Yes it will be stunningly beautiful and yes it all ends in a gorgeous gala dinner but there will also be crashing energy lows, dehydration, exhaustion induced rage, sore legs, sore backs, sore necks, sore butts and very sore genitals. So please please support us as we prepare for married life with the ultimate test! 

And of course, its not really about the challenge but the charity that does such wonderful work and is so close to our hearts. 

We are raising funds for Caudwell Children, who provide family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK. They also run Enable Sport programme for talented disabled athletes and Destination Dreams holiday for children fighting life-threatening conditions.

 I volunteered on the 2015 Destination Dreams trip and the love, joy and understanding that was shared between the children, parents and volunteers was unforgettable. It was, for some families, the final holiday before their child passed away and a rare opportunity to escape the endless litany of hospital appointments and painful treatments. To share in some of those moments, in which all that matters is the smile on that child's face, was one of the great privileges of my life. 

The charity’s management and running costs are covered by a kind benefactor so that every donation made will go directly to the children they help.
