I am raising money for LIV Village in South Africa - A village for orphan and vulnerable children to have a safe home, a mother to love them, food to eat and a school to educate them.

The village is unique because it provides the children with foster mothers and they live in a home with a mother to simulate and ultimately create family life.  The other children who live in these families become their sisters and brothers.

There are over 5.2 Million orphan and vulnerable in SA and 12,000 are added every month. Many children in whom suffer with HIV/Aids.

As many of you know I have had the privilege of volunteering here and I will be returning in the new year. I helped in the ECD (Early Childhood Development) section with the beautiful children - whom have been affected by huge trauma in their lives. 

Sadly in last two weeks, two children pasted away -unexpectedly.  As you can imagine this has been a very hard time for all the children affected by the loss of two sisters. 

Some of your money will go directly towards, providing transport for the children to go for a fun day out.  For most of us, having a day out is a nice but normal experience. 

However for these children, its a very rare and exciting opportunity. 

Please help me, help them!
