In some Kenyan communities where food is scarce, people suffer from an iron deficiency in their diets - a condition called Pica. It manifests itself in abnormal cravings and is experienced by many in the country. It results in people resorting to eating stone blocks. They found that people had capitalised on this and these stones could be purchased at markets alongside traditional groceries!!!

Eating Stones Fund UK aims to relieve poverty & sickness in Kenya, through education & access to effective, holistic healthcare. We
work with grassroots projects, listening to those we support to understand what they need to help them out of poverty.

Now I am not a natural sports person and certainly not a cyclist but am hoping to challenge myself, get fitter and help raise funds for this amazing charity!!! Please help with what you can! :)
