Liberty Trek Madagascar 2017

Liberty Madagascar Trek 2017 · 4 November 2017
Thank you for visiting the Liberty Trek Madagascar 2017 team's Just Giving page.
From 5th - 16th November a team of Liberty employees from the London office (Anna Paul, Scott Kellers, Fraser Young, Jenny Jones, Nasteho Muse, Arthur Makins, Michael Dryden & Tommy Desborough) will be taking on the challenge of trekking through the south of Madagascar to raise funds for WaterAid. They will be tackling Pic Boby, Madagascar's second highest mountain (2658m).
WaterAid is Liberty Specialty Markets' charity partner and their vision is for everyone in the world to have access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene by 2030. We take safe water as an essential human right, but 10% of the world's population does not have access to it. One in three lacks adequate sanitation, and water related diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation cause over 2 million deaths a year. Education, livelihoods and quality of life also suffer.
We want to help WaterAid to help change people's lives for the better.
During the trek the team will have the opportunity to visit a WaterAid project in Madagascar to see first hand the work the charity is doing and how the funds you donate can really make a difference to people's lives.
Liberty Specialty Markets will be covering all travel and admin costs so any donations you make will be going direct to the charity. We appreciate any donations you can give.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
