I am taking part in this abseil as the only other time  I abseiled was more than 50 years ago when I was on a rock climbing expedition as a Guide. I remember it was great fun. Since then my experience of heights has been limited to climbing step ladders when decorating or the occasional historic monument tower. The Tower building at Dundee University was the view from my  flat window in Dundee when I started my dentistry course, so it will be rather fun to climb to the top of that building and take a shorter quicker route down. If I can raise some funds for Marie Curie as well it would be very special. Thank you
