Story
I am walking the Leicestershire Round to raise money for LOROS, the Leicestershire and Rutland Hospice.
The Leicestershire Round is a 100 mile walk around Leicestershire separated into day walks of 8-15 miles each. I will be doing this on weekends throughout 2016/17 with as many friends as I can muster!
Tim Savage and Nat Simmonds have joined me for every walk so far, so they're also asking people to donate - so a particular thank you if you're one of their friends, family and/or colleagues!
I am raising money for LOROS because I have seen what amazing support and care they provide people with significant illnesses and their families. They provide them with care, dignity, and a bit of cheer in their times of need and it has been very moving to see the wonderful support they give. So I'd like to give a little bit back. And see some of the countryside, too!
If you would like to join me on any stage of this walk, I will be posting dates and logistics here soon. Please contact me if you're likely to join me - so I know to wait for you! Emailing liedra at liedra.net is the best way. I'll be asking for small donations from walkers to join me; but if you can't join me and would like to support this challenge, please donate here!
