SUPPORTING CHILDREN
From when they are born until they are children, Action For Children help them through fostering or adoption – and by intervening early to stop neglect and abuse. Action For Children makes life better for children with disabilities. They influence policies and advocate for change.
THE TEAM
Action for children has 7,000 staff and volunteers that operate over 522 services, improving the lives of 301,000 children, teenagers, parents, and carers every year. They succeed by doing what’s right, doing what’s needed, and doing what works for children.
There is so much to be done but together we can change this.
THE IMPACT & DIFFERENCE WE CAN MAKE
- £5 can pay for an emergency overnight support for a young person living on the street.
- £3 can pay for a child to have a healthy nutritious meal.
- £10 can pay for a child, subjected to abuse, to have a one on one play session.
- £50 can pay for a project to be kept open for an hour of urgent care required for a child.
- £25 can pay for a mediation session for parents to work out arrangements for their children.
- £15 can pay for a puppet to help a child express feelings after subjected to abuse.
MY GOAL
- My goal is to raise £10,000 in total.
- Raise awareness and support for Action For Children.
- Participate in a fundraising challenge.

My goal is to be able to use my influence to bring awareness to these challenges, and more importantly, get help from others to make an even greater impact than I ever could on my own.
