My charity single - Lifeboat- is being released on 19/03/22, with all proceeds going to the appeal Be There For Them. In order to support this cause as much as possible, I also created this fundraiser so that anyone can donate directly as well if they would like to.

As a healthcare professional, I have experienced first-hand the trauma of caring for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately, I have only been left with some bad memories but others have not been so lucky. 

Rates of burnout and mental health issues at an all-time high among NHS staff and they need help fast. I'm a musician in my spare time so thought that, by recording a charity single, I might be able to raise funds for psychological support and awareness of this growing issue. 

Be There For Them is an initiative by NHS Charities Together (registered charity no. 1186569) to directly fund psychological interventions for NHS staff, including peer-to-peer support and counselling sessions. Hopefully, with enough support, we will be able to care for those who have cared for us through such trying times and allow them to continue helping others, free from the burden of their previous trauma.
