Story

Hi Everyone

Lifecentre: SUST is gettin ready for a swimming marathon as we prepare to swim the distance of the english channel at Cannons helath club chichester. The event is happening on 28th and 29th November. There will be 9 teams committing themselves to swim 200 lengths each, equalling the distance of the english channel. So far we have lots of different orgaisations represented such as Chichester police, Chichester ambulance service, Grace church, Chichester Baptsist church, Lifecentre's telephone helpline team, cannons health club, Gilbert and Russell families, Ian Hare (West howe Baptist church) Katie Du Plessis and many other individuals.

The money raised from swimming the distance of the english channel in Cannons Health Club Chichester will be spent on Lifecentre: SUST's services to under18s including the educational programme. The programme on an aevrage year reaches 6500 young people and is designedto deliver workshops based on the issues surrounding unwanted sex. The project has 3 aim.

1. To act as a preventitive aid for sexual abuse and rape

2. To equip and empower Under18s to make informed decisions about relationships and sex.

3. Most importantly to be a signpost to those under18s who really need the support that Lifecentre provides.

As we hope to reach more young people through this project the money will also be spent on the cousneling services available to Under18s and the telephone helpline.

Please sponsor all the people invovled for this great cause.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Life Centre gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation
