Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

By sponsoring our bike ride you are giving vital funds to support Nottingham Potential, part of the Nurturing Talent theme of Impact: The Nottingham Campaign. This will provide opportunities for students from disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve their academic potential and consider university education as a viable option.

Towns and cities in the East Midlands contain areas with some of the lowest higher education participation rates in the UK. Your donation will help the University expand its works to support achievement and raise aspirations by working with young people, teachers, schools and colleges in Nottingham and the East Midlands. The University of Nottingham is dedicated to providing financial provision for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, presently investing £6 million in bursaries and scholarships each year. Nottingham Life Cycle 2 is part of an on-going pledge to raise awareness and funds for these students and with your support we will be able to provide financial assistance to help even more students achieve their ambitions.
