Lots of running! · 3 January 2019

10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those who follow our blog (www.facebook.com/thelifeofrileys or www.lifeofrileys.org) you will already know that T has been diagnosed with friedreich's ataxia for over a year now and the support we have received has been amazing so it's time for me to give something back. Friedreich's is just one of many different forms of Ataxia many of which are unknown across the planet (FA was to me!) if you would like to know more please visit their website (www.ataxia.org.uk)

So this year I have not set a target of any one event and I will be adding to them as I go along, The Manchester Half Marathon (October 13th) and the Hull 10k (June 2nd) are the first 2 booked in and I will update the page as more are added.

Thank you for supporting such a fantastic charity and who knows your donation might just help find a cure..
