The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

We are a small team of psychologists and counsellors who support children and families with complex and palliative care needs.

We wish to do our bit to support this amazing Trust by taking part in individual challenges this Sunday to mark the day of the London Marathon. Since 1981, this annual fundraiser has raised more than £1 billion for great causes.

Fin will be taking part in a triathlon, cycling 26 miles, running 2.6 miles and rowing 2.6k on her home running machine.

Jonny and I will be running 26k (separately and in isolation).

Amy and her Labrador Manon (possibly 2 year old Henry) will be completing 26 laps in their local park in Bristol.

Nell and her family, Duncan and Caspar, will be completing 26,000 steps!

Save the UK's Charities! 🌈 Charity fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
