Asalamu'Alaikum
I hope this message reaches you in the best of health,
wealth and Imaan. Tuesday 23rdJuly will mark 9 years since my beloved mother departed from this world. It
also marks 2 years since I lost my dear brother Fazlul l Hoque to cancer tragically on the same day. Allah swt have mercy on them and give them the glad tidings of Jannah.
As you are aware we built a Masjid for my late mother with
your help, Masjid Laili was constructed in Kenya Massalani. Alhamdulillah, together we have raised £15,000 for the Masjid and another £8,000 for a small purpose built new Madrassah in 2018-2019. This Ramadan we have collectively raised £45,000 so far for x 2 Madrassah and a new school and aim to construct these in
Feb- March 2020. Our projects in Kenya have gone strength to strength with your support and kind donations.
I reach out to you guys to help me support a Solar Panel for
Masjid Laili. This solar panel will provide electricity and light to the Masjid Laili. This will no doubt bring ease and comfort to the believers / Musallis. I Pray Allah swt illuminates your grave with Nur (Light) just as you bring light, ease and comfort to the believers. I pray this campaign will continue to benefit the users, the donors and of course my brother and late mother as Sadaqa Jaariya.
If a person performs a deed that continues to
benefit others in a good way, the performer of the deed will continue to
collect the rewards for his or her single act for as long as it benefits others
(even after the person passes away). The Prophet said:
“When a person dies, his works end, except for
three: ongoing charity, knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child
who prays for him.” (Muslim, Al-Tirmidhi, others)
