Our Story behind "Light up a Life" Christmas Memorial tree

Sadly, our daughter Eve Hayes passed away at the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital on the 28th September 2017. Eve was diagnosed in 2002 with a rare neurological disorder called Rett Syndrome.

To help cope with our unimaginable loss we have decided to launch "The Light Up a Life" tree in memory of our daughter this Christmas, whilst supporting the Archie Foundation. The purpose of the tree is to allow people the chance to purchase stars and write a personal message to remember loved ones at this time of year.

The stars cost £10 for large and £5 for small and can be purchased either in the Trinity Centre, Aberdeen or through this JustGiving page for us to complete on your behalf. Messages can be sent in private via our Facebook page.

Thank you for your support and we wish you a Magical Christmas.
