Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
For World AIDS Day, I am running to raise money for 56 Dean Street in support of their HIV and sexual health services.
Gay men are one of the largest communities that have been affected by the HIV/AIDS virus and as a young gay man, I have been incredibly lucky to have a free service like Dean Street at my hands to be able to take advantage of. Dean Street have consistently been there to offer help, support and vaccinations to me and the community. Their services are also heavily accessed by trans people in London through cliniQ, a confidential trans-led sexual health service for all trans people, partners and friends.
As an NHS clinic, Dean Street has faced numerous cuts over the years yet remain providing the same reliable, speedy service and for that I cannot thank them enough. I want to raise money for Dean Street so that they can continue to offer their services to not only the LGBTQ+ community but to anyone that needs it.
I'm running on November 30th as part of Red Run London in Victoria Park and would love it if you could give anything you can to support Dean Street and the work they do. Please also feel free to come down and support me and the other runners on the day!
