Story

Please sponsor Charlotte, Jasmine, Sophie, Lucy and Rachel who decided it would be great fun to take part in the Tough Mudder Half on April 29th and have now realised they actually need to train, so will appreciate all the support they can get to spur them on!

Back in May 2014, two little boys that Charlotte looked after  tragically lost their father in a drowning accident whilst on a family holiday in Treasure beach, Jamaica, and since then others have also lost their lives due to drowning accidents. She is very close to the family and it had a great impact on many people who knew them in the community. So Likkle Swimmers aim is to change this and to give the children an opportunity to learn a new skill, which in turn will also save lives in the community of Treasure beach, Jamaica.

'Tough Mudder Half isn’t a race. It’s a challenge. It’s 5 miles of mud and obstacles specifically designed to test your teamwork and toughness. And most of all, it’s FUN. With the help of your fellow Mudders, you’ll overcome mud-drenched obstacles and adrenaline-pumping challenges. And you’ll do it all while having the most fun you’ve had in recent memory'

In May 2014, a 4 year old boy was pulled out to sea by a riptide; his father swam out and saved his life, but then tragically drowned before their eyes. We have discovered that so few of the children can swim, because they are surrounded by fear and no access to lessons and we want to change this.
