Help to protect the Lamandau Wildlife Reserve and provide a future for orangutans, forests and people.

Story

Lately, I have been watching nature programmes about primates, and in particular orangutans.

These animals are in danger because people have been cutting down their jungle habitats to plant trees for palm oil. This has been happening so much that orangutans are now critically endangered as they have nowhere to live. Orangutans are clever and precious and I want to help them.

The Orangutan Foundation works to protect the Lamandau Wildlife Reserve and helps to provide a future for orangutans, forests and people.

Donating to this cause will actively help to protect:

*158,144 acres of tropical peat forest (one acre is the approximate size of a football pitch) in Central Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo.

*Over 600 critically endangered orangutans - a number which continues to increase as more are rescued and released.

*Thousands of threatened species including gibbons, pangolins, clouded leopards, sun bears and proboscis monkeys.

Thanks so much for supporting my cause and for helping our orangutans.

Lots and lots of love,

Lili xoxoxo 🙂😘
