We give children living in poverty support to break their cycle of poverty

Story

Update: December 2020: I have now successfully completed my challenge within the 10 week period! Most days I was lucky with the weather, there was one belter, thank goodness it was an easier Munro to climb! The 10 munros completed during the challenge:

1. Ben Lomond, 2. Carn at Tuirc, 3. Cairn of Claise, 4. Glas Maol, 5. Creag Leacach, 6. Ben Chonzie ,7. Mayar, 8. Driesh , 9. Ben Lawers, 10. Can Aosda

Thanks to everyone for their support. All proceeds are going Directly to the Christina Noble Foundation in order to support their Gift a Ger project (Ger is a Mongolian yurt, home to a family of 4).

Since 2018 I sponsor a child in Mongolia through the Christina Noble Children's Foundation. Through their hard work this foundation helps hundreds of children who live in poverty in Mongolia and Vietnam providing them with basic essentials that we take for granted each day (food, clothes, fuel for heating), which allows them to continue to go to school and further their education.

During this difficult year, I would like to give an additional help to the Foundation in order to help them continue with their valuable work providing the tools for these children to have a better future.

With few or no events taking place this year, I've decided to brave the Scottish weather and set myself the challenge of climbing 10 Munros in 10 Weeks. I've started on 7th October with Ben Lomond... 9 more to go... let's hope for some dry days before winter arrives!

About the charity
