My Nana (Grandad) kept asking me to cut my hair and give him some because he has lost most of his! But then I found out that some illnesses make people's hair fall out and this made me really sad, especially when Mummy told me it happens to young girls and boys too.
So when I found out that I could cut my hair and donate it so that Little Princess Trust could make wigs for these children I knew it was something I really wanted to do. Sorry Nana, but these children need my hair more and I love you just the way you are :)
I decided to cut my hair after my 5th birthday party which was meant to be in October 2021, but thanks to lots of Covid, my party got postponed twice (!) until the end of March 2022. So I have been waiting patiently until now to get my hair cut. The good thing is that the extra 6 months has meant my hair has grown longer and I've got a bit more to donate!
It costs the charity £550 to make one wig so that's my initial target. but I would love it if you can help me raise more than this to support this amazing charity.
I love my hair and I will miss it, but I know what I am doing is going to help someone else so much, so please help in any way you can. Plus I know my hair will grow back!

Thank you so much for your generosity.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We wont' stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincess.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
