Scoot in September · 2 September 2021

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

After hearing about Five-year-old Mila Sneddons scoot in September fundraising idea Lillian really wanted to help.
Mila was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in November 2019 at the age of just four. Scoot in September is set up to raise vital funds for UK children with blood cancer.
All that is being asked to do is to get out on your scooter and get people to donate.
Lillian is only 2 years old but after seeing Mila on the news she wanted to help and as she said “she looks like a lovely girl and I want to be her friend”. It was explained that Mila wasn’t well and Lillian really wanted to help. So here we are, we are going to scoot everyday of September and hopefully help Mila and children like her.

Please be generous as it’s for such a good cause and the way Lillian wants to help others at just the age of two is an inspiration to us all.

Thank you and we will keep you posted with her scooting adventures
