The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

I am the headteacher of a primary school in Rotherham. One of my pupils, Lilly-Jo, has decided to have her lovely long hair cut to make a wig for a little girl who has lost hers through illness, by donating the hair to the Little Princess Trust. Lilly-Jo’s idea has inspired me to join her and on the 1st of May, we will both have our hair cut in a special assembly at school. As well as donating the hair, we would really like to raise some money for the charity, to help them help many more children.
