Hi, my name is Lilly and this is my Everest Base Camp Challenge.

Trekking to Everest Base Camp is not only an incredible personal challenge, but supporting The Children's Society is an unbelievably  humbling experience. This charity works with children and young people all across the UK, tackling such issues as child sexual exploitation, child poverty and mental health issues in young people, they also work to support young carers and refugee children. I cannot emphasise enough the importance of the work this charity carries out for so many young people, and this work is only made possible through donations. Therefore, this summer, Newcastle University RAG team are working with the charity to undertake the incredible challenge of trekking to Everest Base Camp. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and for such an important cause, I hope you will take the time to consider donating and supporting this challenge.
