Ian Chalmers is raising money for Good Hope Hospital Charity
In memory of Lilly Mae Chalmers
Story
As most people are aware on the 22nd March 2018 we found out that our daughter Lilly Mae Chalmers had stopped breathing at 35 weeks and 5 Days.
A number of family and close friends have have signed up with myself, Sara and Charlie to take part in the Ballsall Common Fun Run on the 23rd September 2018 In memory of Lilly.
We are raising funds for the New Bereavement Unit at Good Hope Hospital, which is being designed to give families who go through this heart breaking ordeal a specialised room to stay in which will be sound proof, air conditioned and clinical for ladies who have had complicated births and want to be able to spend time with their babies.
This is very close to us as the midwives who looked after us at Good Hope where amazing and we want to be able to give something back to them and this room will be a great resource for them when dealing with such a difficult situation.
