The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further and faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

My mum, nan, brother, cousin (Sarah) and I have all decided we are getting the brain cancer ribbon (a grey ribbon) tattood. We are all (except Harry) terrified of needles. Mum doesn't even like tattoos but she can't back out now! None of us were particularly aware of brain cancer and how prevalent it is until dad was diagnosed last year, so we are hoping to raise awareness of this awful disease and raise money to help fight it.

Brain tumours reduce life expectancy by, on average, 20 years, the highest of any cancer. Brain tumours also  kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet only 1% of the national spend on cancer research is allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable.
