Story

My Great Grandpa who was 106 years old recently died and this made me think about how many people are dying from the corona virus. I wanted to raise money for people who work tirelessly to protect our family and friends. People like care home residents and the staff there. People like medical staff GP's. People like our amazing brave NHS.

I will be sitting in a cherry tree in my garden for as long as possible. People will sponsor me for every hour I can sit in my tree (10 hours). I will be live streaming this from up in the tree. I will also accept challenges from supporters, e.g. ice a cupcake, sing a song, making a sandwich etc.

I will also be allowed one 5 minute toilet break, if i need another, I will donate £10 of my own money to the cause!

I intend to do this on Friday 7th May starting at 10am, but if it starts raining I might have second thoughts and post phone it!

Hi my name is Scarlett and I will be helping my big sister by bringing her things like food, water, danger cat (our kitten) to stroke, cuddle ,give tummy rubs.

If you feel the way my sister and I feel, and want to help support those that need it, please, please, donate to this worthy cause.

About the charity

University Hospitals Birmingham Charity supports four hospitals in Birmingham - Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope, and Solihull. We support the patients, families and staff at our hospitals by providing 'added extras' that are over and above those which are provided by the NHS.
