Your donations will go towards the fantastic unit that I am privileged to work on: the Acute Admissions Unit and Emergency Ambulatory Care Unit (AAU and EACU) at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton. 

AAU is a fast-paced assessment unit on the acute floor; it provides a critical service for both medical and surgical needs of our patients. Donations will greatly help for:

• Creating more patient-friendly environments;
• Provision of equipment for diagnosis and treatment;
• Funding research projects to advance our understanding and treatment.

The staff on AAU/ EACU are totally committed to caring for the most vulnerable patients and do an amazing job with the resources available. But, we could do so much more with additional resources to enhance our patients' experience while they are on our ward and to improve the quality and meaning of their lives.
