Hi, 

My name is lily and I am a young carer. I live at home with my little brother James. He has a rare form of epilepsy and this can sometimes make life at home very tough. 

Surrey young carers have helped to support me. I get to enjoy lots of fun days out with them and I have made lots of friend with other young carers who understand how i feel.

On the 8th March, I am running in the 2km kids race during the Surrey half marathon event. I would like to raise £200 for Surrey young carers so they can keep providing support.

Surrey Young Carers is a service of Action for Carers Surrey. We support young people under 18 who care emotionally or physically for an adult or sibling with a long term illness, disability or drug and alcohol misuse. We offer advocacy, funding and a range of activities and breaks to young carers.
